¿Qué hacían mis abuelos en la década de los cincuenta?
“Aprender investigando” es el concepto básico que subyace en todas las competiciones de Eustory. Cada año, muchos jóvenes de los países miembros de Eustory emprenden un viaje hacia la historia, adentrándose en numerosos y diversos temas. Los estudiantes entrevistan a testigos contemporáneos, utilizan fuentes familiares tales como cartas, diarios y fotografías, buscan fuentes primarias en archivos, visitan los lugares de acontecimientos históricos. Consecuentemente, los estudiantes examinan y consideran la historia desde diferentes perspectivas, y discurren sus propias conclusiones, se liberan de los prejuicios frecuentemente establecidos y desarrollan la habilidad de pensar con juicio crítico. En este sentido sientan las bases de una participación activa en la sociedad civil.
